This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Registered Nurse who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care while supporting and developing high-performing clinical teams. The role provides clinical leadership across the home and works closely with the General Manager to drive quality outcomes, compliance, workforce capability and resident wellbeing.
About the Role
As the Clinical Services Manager, you will provide operational and clinical leadership to nursing and care teams, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and resident-focused care. You will play a key role in supporting accreditation outcomes, clinical governance, workforce development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support clinical and care teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Partner with the General Manager on operational and clinical management of the home.
- Monitor clinical performance, quality indicators, audits and compliance outcomes.
- Oversee care planning, assessments, clinical documentation and reviews.
- Provide coaching and support to nursing leaders on complex clinical matters.
- Manage clinical education programs, competency development and workforce capability.
- Support incident management, complaint resolution and risk mitigation activities.
- Contribute to roster management, staffing oversight and workforce planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and service quality.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Demonstrated leadership experience within aged care, healthcare or residential care environments.
- Strong knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation requirements, AN-ACC, infection prevention and clinical governance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and people leadership skills.
- Proven ability to support, coach and develop clinical teams.
- Experience managing clinical risk, quality systems and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a clinical leadership role
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current AHPRA registration (Division 1)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes police check)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) and 2026 Influenza vaccination
- Proof of Australian work rights
