Clinical leadership day
Clinical Leadership conferences are scheduled twice yearly for up and coming Endorsed Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses from across the TLC network. This is an opportunity for a geographically diverse leadership team to come together to share, network and expand their leadership and clinical skills. TLC aims to bridge the gap between clinician and leader and have a workforce that is both prepared and willing to be both. The conference is run by the Executive team with both internal and external speakers providing a well-rounded overview, education and support regarding issues facing clinical leaders.
The annual TLC Leadership Conference provides an opportunity for TLC’s Management group to participate in knowledge sharing, training and networking encouraging cohesion and collaboration in the leadership of the organisation. In a decentralised organisation such as TLC, this program is vital to building relationships and supporting collaboration with and respect for each other. It also enables the sharing of ideas to promote excellence across the organisation.
At TLC, we grow from within. We offer our teams the opportunity to stretch themselves in areas such as Quality, ACFI and Auditing. Additional support and training is available to staff engaging in these opportunities. This experience provides the opportunity for internal promotion and progression for those who demonstrate commitment to TLC and our Values including that of Excellence.
Every year, TLC Healthcare offers $2,500 scholarships towards the study of relevant qualifications for team members with at least 12 months service. Applications for TLC Scholarships generally open in October/November each year. TLC Scholarships are reviewed by the Executive Group and awarded by the CEO.
