About the Traineeship

• Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week in an aged care setting over 12 months
• Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through TLC Learning
• Secure ongoing employment opportunities within TLC Aged Care homes in Melbourne’s South East

 

About the Role 

• Provide holistic, resident-centred care under the supervision of experienced care staff and nurses
• Support residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, oral care, meals, and lifestyle activities
• Build positive relationships with residents and families, ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy always
• Work collaboratively with the care team, including Registered Nurses and allied health professionals
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ wellbeing to support safe, high-quality care delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Follow all health, safety, infection control, and compliance requirements within an aged care setting
