We are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist Team Leader who will lead the physiotherapist team in Frankston North and work collaboratively with our clinical, care and wellbeing teams to implement programs for the holistic wellbeing of residents and community patients.
Frankston North Medical Centre
Located in the bayside suburb of Frankston North in Melbourne, TLC Healthcare Frankston North boasts a modern residential aged care home – TLC Aged Care Forest Lodge – for residents seeking comfort and convenience, and a co-located medical centre.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a team of physiotherapists and physiotherapy aides
- Conduct falls reviews and falls prevention management
- Clinical assessments of wide variety patients
- Pain management, gym and hydrotherapy classes
- Exercise prescription and the formulation of care plans
- Liaise with residents, families, community patients, nursing and medical practitioners
- Deliver training and assessment in manual handling techniques to TLC employees
Hours of work
- 76 hours per fortnight
- Monday to Friday
- 0830 – 1636

Things that matter to us
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Minimum 1 year in similar role
- Understanding of AN-ACC
- Working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
- NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
