TLC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer to join our team at Clifton Views. This is a key role responsible for delivering an exceptional admissions experience for prospective residents and their families while supporting occupancy outcomes for the home.
About the Role
The Resident Liaison Officer is the first point of contact for prospective and existing residents, providing tours, managing enquiries, coordinating admissions, and delivering ongoing post-admission support. This role works closely with the General Manager and key stakeholders to build strong referral networks and ensure compliance with aged care legislation and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to prospective residents, residents, and their representatives
- Manage enquiries, tours, walk-ins, and admissions processes in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate and facilitate resident admissions, including financial and documentation requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers and community stakeholders
- Manage waitlists and support occupancy targets
- Ensure display rooms and the home are always presentation-ready
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act and accreditation requirements
- Contribute to marketing, referrer engagement, and occupancy planning in collaboration with the General Manager and Marketing team
- Liaise with residents and families post-admission to ensure a smooth transition into the home
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in aged care admissions, sales, or a similar customer-focused role
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, accreditation requirements, and admissions processes (desirable)
- An understanding of aged care financial arrangements
- Experience with AN-ACC funding model
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build trust and rapport with residents, families, and referrers
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work autonomously
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and industry-specific systems
- A commitment to resident-focused care and continuous improvement
Compliance Requirements
- Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check (including National Criminal History Police Check)
- Completion of mandatory training requirements
- Right to work in Australia
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and 2026 Influenza vaccinations
