RTO Trainer Manager (Full Time)
- Lead and uplift Trainers & Assessors delivering qualifications and short courses across TLC Learning Academy
- Drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across training delivery, assessment and documentation
- Salary: $132,000
The Opportunity
The RTO Trainer Manager positions this role to manage, coordinate and support TLC Trainers and Assessors delivering qualification courses and short courses, while lifting trainer confidence and capability in delivery, assessment and engagement. A core focus is building trainer maturity and consistency against the rules of assessment, training package delivery and quality standards, with an ongoing lens on documentation quality and audit readiness.
This role reports to the Learning & Development General Manager.
What you’ll be doing
You will be accountable for leading training delivery quality and team performance across TLC Learning Academy, including:
- Manage TLC Trainers and Assessors to deliver consistently high-quality training and assessment
- Support trainers to strengthen classroom delivery and engagement, timetables, appropriate delivery and assessment, and communication with students
- Follow up student progress to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Partner with stakeholders including Trainers, Trainees, aged care home staff and General Managers on training development needs
- Provide (and guide others in) high-level delivery in areas including Medication, Dementia and Aged Care health topics
- Ensure training and assessment approaches reflect VET system requirements, including rules of assessment, rules of evidence and training package delivery expectations
- Drive quality documentation: generate, implement and review training plans; ensure accurate documentation is maintained and reporting mechanisms are followed
- Coordinate the team to add additional courses and qualifications to scope of registration (as directed/prioritised)
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities and supporting accreditation requirements
What you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in the VET/RTO environment, including rules of assessment/delivery, training packages and rules of evidence
- Proven capability to lead, coach and uplift Trainers & Assessors and drive consistent standards of delivery
- Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to work with trainers, trainees and operational leaders
- Registered Nurse (preferred)
Compliance requirements include a satisfactory Police Record Check, completion of mandatory training, and AHPRA Registration (where applicable).
