About the role

Reporting to the General Manager – RTO, you will lead all aspects of training delivery across nationally recognised qualifications and short courses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Trainers and Assessors
  • Ensure compliance with ASQA standards, RTO regulations and training packages
  • Drive training quality, learner engagement and assessment excellence
  • Manage training schedules, delivery planning and LMS systems
  • Oversee trainer competency, currency and professional development
  • Support RTO audits, validation and scope additions
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across training programs
  • Partner with stakeholders to align training with workforce needs

 

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong RTO leadership experience and a passion for developing people and systems.

Essential skills & experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an RTO leadership role (Training Manager / Compliance Manager / Lead Trainer)
  •  TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  •  Strong knowledge of VET sector, ASQA standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience with RTO audits, validation and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance outcomes

Highly desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare or community services training
  • Experience expanding scope of registration
