TLC Healthcare (TLC) has appointed Cathy Jones as their Chief Quality Officer. Cathy will be joining the TLC executive team in February 2021.

Cathy is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 20 years’ senior leadership experience, driving strategy, clinical governance, risk management, change and patient experience, with measured exceptional results. She joins TLC from Healthscope where she has been the National Director of Clinical Governance since 2006.

Cathy will replace Jenny Foley who has been in the role of Chief Quality Officer since 2016; and who will remain in a senior management role with the organisation.

The CEO of TLC Healthcare, Lou Pascuzzi, is delighted to have Cathy join his team “With over 20 years’ experience in both acute and primary healthcare, Cathy Jones will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Chief Quality Officer role at TLC. I am privileged to also have Jenny Foley continuing in a senor management position with TLC, providing a formidable quality and risk governance team covering the entire healthcare spectrum of aged, acute and primary care.

“TLC’s innovative model of integrating aged care, primary care, registered training and child care into community hubs requires a strong team with a broad set of skills and experience. Alongside my existing executive team, Cathy will be tasked with ensuring that all of these services integrate seamlessly to offer the highest quality care to our residents, patients, students and children.

“Cathy’s experience in acute care will also prepare TLC for our vision of possibly integrating day surgeries into our service model in the future, not only to enhance the quality of our care, but further contribute to the long-term sustainability of the organisation.” says Pascuzzi.

TLC operates 11 residential aged care homes, medical centres and registered training facilities located across Melbourne and Geelong.
In 2022, TLC will be opening their latest development in the Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc that will offer aged care, primary care, child care, commercial gymnasium and swimming pool at one location.
