Our Divisions

TLC Aged Care was founded in 1991 with the purchase of two aged care facilities in the Geelong area. Knowing that these existing facilities would not meet the standards we wanted to deliver, we developed a brand new facility just outside of Geelong and relocated our residents.

From our beginnings we have been innovators in our approach to aged care. When we built our very first home we wanted to ensure that it provided residents with privacy, dignity and above all an environment they could call home. This way of thinking has continued with the opening of each of our new homes.

Since that time our business has grown to include 10 residential aged care homes that employ over 1,300 Victorians. Our purpose built homes are located in Altona North, Belmont, Whittlesea, Hallam, Noble Park, Frankston, Wallington and Donvale.

 

TLC Primary Care is the medical centre division of TLC Healthcare. We will be opening commercial medical centres on-site at TLC Aged Care's facilities over the next 12 months, commencing in 2015 with Noble Park and Belmont.

Our centres will feature the latest IT and equipment infrastructure, supported by on-site pathology collection, dispensary, nursing staff trained in chronic disease management and administration support.

Our integrated model will deliver the best in care to our residents, their families and the local community.

 

TLC Learning is an industry training organisation dedicated to providing the latest in accredited aged care courses to the staff of TLC Aged Care. TLC Learning will commence enrolments in 2016.
