Seeking Care Manager (Div 1 / Grade 5) – Aged Care

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (or variation as per operational needs)

About the Role

This is not your typical role—as a Care Manager (Div 1 / Grade 5), you will be hands-on, delivering person-centred care alongside a high-performing team dedicated to enriching the lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care using a person-centred approach
  • Manage medication and wound care to support residents’ health
  • Collaborate on recommendation plans and support strategies
  • Drive continuous clinical improvement to ensure excellence in care
  • Provide compassionate support to residents, families, and visitors
  • Oversee assessments, care plans, and reviews with accurate documentation
  • Assist in staff clinical education and competency development
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and diverse workplace culture

 

Things that matter to us 

  • Two years’ experience in a clinical leadership role 
  • Over 4 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards   
  • Relevant Nursing Qualifications (Division 1) 
  • Current registration with AHPRA 
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)    
  • 2025 Influenza vaccination
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)    
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
