The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Casual Early Learning Education and Care Trainer and Assessor to join TLC Learning Academy. Reporting to the Learning & Development General Manager, this role supports the delivery and assessment of Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications and other nationally recognised programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early learning professional who enjoys sharing their knowledge, supporting trainees and contributing to high–quality training outcomes within a dynamic RTO environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Deliver high–quality training and assessment to classroom–based students
• Assess student competencies and provide constructive feedback
• Follow up with students to ensure assessment completion and progression
• Provide guidance, mentoring and emotional support to trainees throughout their learning journey
• Support recruitment, screening and onboarding activities for traineeships
• Maintain accurate training, assessment and compliance documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and frameworks (including Early Learning and RTO standards)
• Collaborate with other trainers and support continuous improvement initiatives

 

About You

You are an experienced early learning professional with strong training and assessment capability, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to quality education.

 

You will bring:

 

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Experience delivering training and assessment in an RTO environment
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team

 

Requirements

 

• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
• NDIS Check (including police clearance)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Satisfactory Police Check
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Completion of mandatory TLC training requirements
