TLC Healthcare Celebrates Week of Major Milestones with Expansion and Community Events in Geelong Region

TLC Healthcare (TLC) has successfully concluded a landmark week of growth and community engagement, celebrating three major milestones in the Geelong and Surf Coast region: the sod-turning of a new Early Learning Centre (ELC) at Armstrong Creek, the official opening of the redeveloped ‘The Belmont’ aged care residence and medical centre, and a highly attended Community Open Day.
On Thursday, December 4, TLC executives and local dignitaries gathered at TLC Armstrong Creek to officially break ground on the site’s new state-of-the-art Early Learning Centre (ELC). This development marks the next phase in TLC’s integrated care strategy, designed to foster intergenerational connection by co-locating childcare services with aged care facilities.
Later that same day, the organisation celebrated the Official Opening of the Belmont Redevelopment. The extensive refurbishment of the established aged care home and community medical centre has introduced luxury suite accommodation, enhanced communal living areas, and upgraded clinical facilities, including the expansion of its community medical centre, incorporating on-site allied health services, reinforcing TLC’s commitment to providing the highest quality of care and lifestyle for residents in Belmont.
The week of celebrations culminated on Saturday, December 6, with a Community Open Day held at the newly launched precinct. The event drew local families, prospective residents, and community members. Guests enjoyed guided tours of the redeveloped Belmont site, met with the care teams, and participated in family-friendly festivities, underscoring the strong bond between TLC Healthcare and the local community.
