Lou is a well-known and respected executive with a demonstrated track record in both the entrepreneurial and corporate sectors. He has a deep understanding of and commitment to the Australian healthcare sector. He also has a demonstrated ability to develop innovative corporate strategies and then scale up organisational capabilities to execute his vision.
Lou began his career in the healthcare industry 20 years ago when he founded Peak Health Management. Over 13 years he built Peak Health Management to be Australia's largest and most successful corporate health management company. In 2010 Peak Health Management was successfully acquired by BUPA Australia Ltd. Lou moved to Healthscope to head up their Medical Centres (Primary Care) Division. During his time at Healthscope, he transformed the Healthscope Medical Centres brand, making it the leading provider of chronic disease specific primary care in the Australian market.
Based on his achievements at Healthscope & Peak, he was invited to institute the same strategies at Australia's largest primary care provider, the Independent Practitioners Network (IPN) owned by Sonic Healthcare. The initiatives he implemented have proven to be a resounding success on multiple levels.
Lou arrived at TLC Healthcare in 2013 tasked with utilising his entrepreneurial primary care background to rejuvenate the aged care industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Patsy is a renowned operational specialist in the aged care sector with 28 years’ experience in senior leadership roles. Patsy has held senior positions including Director of Operations, Regional Operations Manager and Regional Director with large aged care providers.
As a Registered Div 1 Nurse with graduate tertiary qualifications, Patsy boasts tried and proven commercial and clinical career results encompassing enhanced operational efficiency, proficient care based resource management, productivity growth and acquisition integration management.
Chief Financial Officer
A qualified CPA, Matthew has over ten years of aged care experience in senior financial roles for large approved providers. During this time Matthew has developed a deep understanding of the social and economic drivers of Australia's aged care system as well as its regulatory and legislative framework.
With responsibilities for growth and financial sustainability, Matthew has been successful in implementing financial strategies to support the growth and development of aged care services including development of new aged care homes and expansion of community services programs.
Matthew brings a range of relevant skills and experience to TLC Healthcare including financial modelling and forecasting, debt structuring, prudential compliance and corporate governance.
Chief Marketing Officer
Adrienne's career in health care began in 2008 when she joined the Marketing & Communications Team at Healthscope and in 2011 she was appointed the National Marketing & Communications Manager. In 2011 Adrienne moved to Marie Stopes International as the Associate Director of Marketing across both their primary care and pharmaceutical divisions.
Adrienne accepted the role of Chief Marketing Officer at TLC Healthcare in 2014 and brings a wealth of skills to the organisation including marketing, public relations, government relations, sales management, product development, communications and business planning.
Prior to her career in health care, Adrienne was an adviser to The Hon. Peter Costello MP, Treasurer and Senator The Hon. Ian Campbell, Minister for Human Services and Minister for the Environment. Adrienne also has many years of experience in the insurance industry both as an underwriter and broker.
Chief Quality and Risk Officer
Cathy Jones joined TLC in February 2021. Cathy has 25 years’ experience working in health care and aged care, including 20 years specialising in quality and risk management. Her executive experience spans rehabilitation, mental health, aged care and acute hospital services in both public and private sectors, with clinical qualifications in allied health and an MBA.
Cathy is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Board Director at Goulburn Valley Health and Eastern Access Community Health (EACH). She has served on several national committees for the Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Health Care and Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.
Cathy is especially passionate about person-centred care, risk management, measurement of quality indicators and public reporting. Cathy lectures internationally in quality and risk management, and hosts the No Harm Done podcast.
Chief Information Technology Officer
Peter has over 17 years experience in information & communication technology (ICT) in Australia and the UK across a range of industries; some of which include banking, construction, utility, government and health. At his most recent role in a not-for-profit owned insurance organisation he managed the ICT environment and provided multiple cost saving and productivity improving initiatives.
Since Joining TLC Healthcare Peter has focussed on creating an environment that is highly available and secure while identifying major cost benefits across multiple areas of ICT. Providing high return for investment while adding value has been realised by both staff and residents early in his programme of works. A fit for purpose ICT specialist, Peter brings the benefits of multi industry experience to deliver an innovative ICT landscape to TLC Healthcare.
Chief People & Culture Officer
Alicia Goddard has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the people and culture function in the healthcare and education sectors. In addition to her experience, Alicia holds qualifications in human resources, industrial relations and an MBA. Alicia has executive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to support organisations through leadership growth and transformation.
Alicia joined TLC in February 2021 and brings versatile experience with specialisation in strategic HR planning, cultural transformation and leadership which supports business operations and efficiencies. A pragmatic approach to partnering with the organisations, Alicia brings a focus on quality and innovation to all aspects of her work.
Throughout her career, Alicia has been passionate about building exceptional cultures which deliver person-centered care, quality and safety; and exceptional community based services. She approaches organisational development through performance capability and continual learning.
