We are excited to offer a paid traineeship for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to build a career in business administration while completing a Certificate IV in Business through TLC Learning.
- Location: Central & Southeast Melbourne (travel required)
- Job Type: Full Time 12-month Fixed Term
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and hold a valid driver’s licence to be eligible for this traineeship.

About the Opportunity
This unique traineeship provides hands-on experience across multiple business units within TLC Healthcare. Over 12 months, you will rotate through key departments across our aged care homes in the Central and Southeast region, including:
- Residential Aged Care Reception and Administration
- Medical Centre Reception and Administration
- Corporate Front & Back Office
- Switchboard Operations
- Functions and Events
- Supporting Operations at Head Office
You will be trained in TLC’s administration systems, customer service delivery, Microsoft applications, and front-of-house operations. This role also supports business needs across multiple sites, including covering unplanned leave and surge requirements, so adaptability and a proactive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across various departments
- Operate switchboard and front-office systems
- Deliver high-quality customer service to residents, families, and staff
- Assist with event and function coordination
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support day-to-day office operations across multiple sites

What We’re Looking For
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
- 2026 Flu vaccination
- Valid driver’s licence – Essential
- NDIS Check (includes police clearance)
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn
