Marina proudly offers a comprehensive array of senior care services, catering to the diverse needs of older people seeking quality nursing home and aged care options in Altona North.

 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Manager to lead our clinical team and deliver exceptional resident care outcomes.

 

About the Role

As the Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care within the home. Working closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will support compliance, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best practice care standards are maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support clinical and care teams to deliver excellent resident outcomes
  • Oversee clinical governance, documentation and care planning
  • Support accreditation and compliance with aged care standards
  • Monitor clinical indicators and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and coach Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care staff
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centred care
  • Collaborate with residents, families and allied health professionals
  • Assist with workforce planning and clinical staffing support

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous leadership experience within aged care or healthcare
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
  • Sound knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
  • A genuine passion for aged care and resident wellbeing

 

Compliance Requirements

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Valid Police Check
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum 3 doses
  • 2026 Influenza vaccination
  • NDIS Clearance Check (including police clearance)
