About Homewood:

Located in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Hallam, our aged care residence in Hallam – ‘Homewood’ – is a fresh and modern residential aged care home. Homewood proudly offers a comprehensive array of senior care services, catering to the diverse needs of older people seeking quality nursing home and aged care options in Hallam.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and assist with the assessment, formulation, and review of resident care plans
• Provide best-practice dementia support and care in collaboration with the team
• Implement recommendation plans and behaviour support strategies
• Monitor, record, and communicate residents’ conditions and needs accurately
• Safely administer medications
• Provide wound care
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, cultural, and social wellbeing.

 

Hours of Work

• Flexibility: Casual roles
• Shifts that suit you: AM, PM, and Night Duty available

• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards 
• Current AHPRA registration (Div 2)
• NDIS check (includes police check)
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) 
• 2025 Influenza vaccination
• Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
