Job Type: Part time and Casual shifts

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are passionate about resident–centred care and confident in providing clinical leadership within a residential aged care setting.
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting residents, families, and care teams while ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance, safety, and excellence.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight within the home, supporting care teams to deliver safe, high–quality, person–centred care. You will act as a role model and mentor for staff, contribute to effective after–hours management, and ensure compliance with aged care standards, legislation, and TLC policies.
You will work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to maintain excellent clinical outcomes, staffing effectiveness, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Care Delivery
- Deliver safe, evidence–based, and resident–focused nursing care
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure best practice standards are met
- Develop, review, and maintain care plans and clinical documentation
- Support AN–ACC requirements and ongoing resident assessments
Operational & After–Hours Management
- Coordinate after–hours operations and respond to clinical incidents
- Provide clinical guidance and on–call support to care teams
- Manage rosters, staffing levels, and escalation of issues
- Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, and external providers
Leadership & Team Development
- Act as a mentor and role model for nursing and care staff
- Support staff performance, training, and compliance
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high–performing team culture
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and continuous improvement
Resident & Family Engagement
- Communicate sensitively and professionally with residents and families
- Manage concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Promote dignity, privacy, and person–centred care at all times
Compliance, Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, accreditation, and legislation
- Uphold TLC policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks
- Actively promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing
About You
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Significant experience in residential aged care
- Strong clinical assessment and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working autonomously and leading teams
- Computer literate with experience in clinical systems
- Commitment to quality improvement and resident-focused care
Compliance Requirements
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current AHPRA registration
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
- 2025 Influenza vaccination
- NDIS Check (including Police Clearance)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
- Excellent time management and communication skills
