We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-focused RTO Administrator to join our team on a 3-month contract, based full-time in our Melbourne CBD office (5 days per week onsite).

- Job Type: Full-time (5 days onsite)
- Immediate start preferred
About the role
This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys structured work, data accuracy, and supporting compliance within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring student records, enrolments and course administration are accurately maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and manage student data, including transferring written or manual records into digital systems
- Maintain accurate records in the Student Management System (e.g. VETtrak or similar)
- Process student enrolments, commencements, completions and withdrawals
- Prepare and issue student documentation, including certificates and Statements of Attainment
- Assist with timetabling, course administration and resource coordination
- Support compliance processes and reporting requirements (e.g. AVETMISS, audits, ASQA requirements)
- Maintain and update policies, procedures and student documentation
- Assist with data reporting and ensure accuracy across systems
- Provide administrative support to the Learning team and trainers
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous administration experience, including high-volume data entry and transferring written information into digital systems
- Experience working in an RTO or training environment (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with student management systems (e.g. VETtrak or similar)
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
