Hairdressing services are available in TLC Aged Care homes at least one day a week. Our hairdresser is pleased to come in by appointment to attend to the resident's needs regularly and/or for special occasions. Staff will be happy to assist in making bookings as required. 

Fees for hairdressing services will be charged to the resident's monthly account for residents who already have Direct Debit arrangements in place. Otherwise, all services must be prepaid via EFTPOS at Reception during business hours.

You may be aware of the legislative requirements governing the safety of all electrical equipment and the need for this equipment to be test and tagged by a competent person every 12 months.

TLC is committed to providing a safe environment for all building occupants by way of 1) Testing and Tagging of resident's personal electrical equipment is to be completed pre-admission and again on an annual basis, and 2) new personal electrical items need to be accompanied with proof of purchase to allow us to identify the item. 

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission requires that documentation be provided to verify that the test and tagging of all electrical equipment has been completed.

The annual test and tagging is carried out by a competent person at a flat rate of $30.00 per annum. TLC reserves the right to adjust this charge in line with any increased charges in tagging appliances. Any changes in pricing will be communicated to you.

Electrical Appliances Test and Tagging Form

Clothing labels are supplied and attached to the garments at a cost of $50.00 per 100 labels. This fee will be charged on the resident's account (permanent residents only). Excess labels will be held in the laundry for any new items of clothing. This will ensure that all clothing is appropriately labelled at all times. Please give staff any new clothing items for labelling. 

Important:
All clothing items brought into our home that are intended to be laundered by TLC Aged Care should be of wash and wear type only. Some clothing items are unsuitable for processing in a commercial laundry environment. Delicate items, including woolens and some synthetic fibres, do not withstand high temperatures and may be damaged in either the wash or dry process. Refer to garment care labels or ensure that you choose durable fabrics (such as cotton or poly/cotton blend garments) to ensure items are suitable for commercial laundering. 

TLC is not responsible for any damages to garments. TLC offers labelling services as an option, if you do not wish to label the clothing items yourself.

TLC Aged Care homes are co-located with a medical centre. TLC Medical Centres' on-site general practitioners are available if you would like them to provide your care. If you do not wish to receive care from our general practitioners, please complete this section.

TLC Aged Care is able to provide you with information about pharmacy services. If you do not wish to receive your medications from our pharmacy provider please complete this section.
