TLC Early Learning Mordialloc is an integral part of Australia’s first fully integrated, multigenerational healthcare precinct.
At TLC Early Learning Mordialloc, we provide long day care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Here, integration is key, bringing together people of all ages to thrive together. Through our unique intergenerational program, “JELLYFISH: Joining Enriching Learning Laughter Young Fun Intergenerational Supporting Happiness”, your child will engage in regular activities with residents of TLC’s residential aged care home, Whitewater, fostering meaningful connections that enrich their experience beyond the ordinary.
Children are also provided with fresh, nutritious meals crafted alongside culinary and health experts, and expansive indoor and outdoor play areas that give your child boundless opportunities for exploration and growth during early childhood development.

A play-based curriculum built on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), with Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches woven through every room, with indoor and outdoor play areas designed for exploring, moving and social skills development

Rooms & Themes
With an appreciation of the natural environment and an emphasis on sustainability, TLC Early Learning Mordialloc deliberately emphasises natural materials in its decor, furniture, and equipment. Each of our rooms is set up for a specific age and stage, from the nursery through to kindergarten. As your child grows, they move up through the rooms with friends and educators they already know, so each new space feels familiar, not daunting.
Outdoor Spaces
Our outdoor spaces reflect our focus on sustainability. A vegetable garden, worm farm, and recycling allow the children to develop environmental awareness and provide a base for their ongoing education. The outdoor playground also features a generous secure undercover area, providing the children with a great space, whatever the weather brings. Age-appropriate, safe, outdoor play equipment includes a fabulous rocking boat that links to our ‘under the sea’ theme.
Intentional Teaching
Our educators don’t just supervise play, they plan it. Intentional teaching means every activity has a purpose, whether it’s a Montessori practical life task that builds concentration, or a Reggio Emilia project that started with a child’s question about the worms in our garden.
Our curriculum also draws on research-based early childhood methods and intergenerational programs developed with Melbourne University and Griffith University. You’ll see it all in the Xplor app, with photos, notes and progress against learning outcomes, so you always know what your child is learning and why.

Our Space in Mordialloc
You’ll find us at 113 McDonald Street, Mordialloc, inside the TLC healthcare precinct alongside Whitewater aged care and TLC Primary Care. Inside, our rooms are light and airy, with natural materials and separate spaces for quiet focus, messy creative play and group time. Outside, children have a vegetable garden, a worm farm and undercover play areas for all-weather fun.
Because we’re a multigenerational healthcare precinct, it’s not just for the kids. While you’re here, you can also:
- Join our on-site gym (TLC Health Clubs) for group fitness classes, Pilates, a workout, a swimming or sauna session.
- Visit a GP or be referred to a range of on-site allied health services including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, podiatry, or dietetics.
- Grab a barista coffee or a bite to eat from The Village Café.
